MTS Iceplex

MTS Iceplex, which opened in August 2010, provides to Winnipeg and the capital region 20,000 hours of annual ice capacity and will attract 650,000 patrons annually, on four icerinks. Related amenities in the 177,000 square foot facility situated between the Pointe West Autopark and Assiniboia Downs include: event level concessions, pro shop, a mezzanine level restaurant/lounge, a high-performance training facility, and meeting spaces.

True North Sports & Entertainment requires qualified personnel for the following roles at our MTS Iceplex facility.

• Good Experience in, and understanding of ice maintenance and resurfacing.
• Experience in a community facility is considered an asset.

• Responsible for ensuring that the ice surafaces and facility at the MTS Iceplex are properly maintained.
